OMNIconnect achieves full ISO 27001 certification.

OMNIconnect, a leading carrier and data-centre based in Carrum Downs, today announced that it has been accredited with the prestigious ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, the international standard outlining best practices for information security management systems (ISMS). With this certification, OMNIconnect has confirmed its commitment to provide superior internet and colocation hosting facilities required to pass the rigorous certification process.

OMNIconnect engaged Sci Qual International to conduct the certification and established that OMNIconnect has established a formal set of policies, procedures, processes, and systems that manage information risks for its digital and physical infrastructure.

ISO consultant, Careta Marmarinos was confident OMNIconnect would meet the requirements, but never-the-less is pleased with the outcome and the resulting potential for further business development.  

The ISO 270001 certification is one of many of the company-wide improvements that OMNIconnect has made over the past 12 months.
